Is There Such Thing As Indulging Your Skin With "Too Much" Product?

"Consumers are often mistaken that if a little of something is good, more is better"...That is not the case. Over treating the skin can cause inflammation and sensitivity in the skin. The skin may become patchy, irritated, and/or red. To experience optimal results, a progressive approach is recommended. While the skin is the body's largest organ, it has a system of multiple layers; the epidermis, dermis, and hypodermis. Our skin protects and regulates our senses, so when the skin is damaged the system malfunctions and/or delays. Skin conditions, such as as rash, dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, and more all need to be treated properly with the correct dosage of medicine or amount of topical cream (If it's skin cancer, usually surgery is used as a solution). These conditions worsen if not treated properly, even if the condition is genetic. It is always better to avoid worsening the condition by not treating or over-treating. Always choose a progressive approach for optimal results.
